Proteinuria

The presence of proteins  in urine is termed as proteinuria.<br><br>

two types of proteins are found in this condition
1. Albumin (smaller size proteins) - albuminuria 
2. Bence jones proteins (low molecular weight glycoproteins) - multiple myeloma (plasma cell tumour).
Proteinuria may result due to violent exercise, high fever, pregnancy, renal disease, ascites and abdominal tumours.
