Endocrine glands are the ductless glands which pour their secretions directly into the bloodstream. Secretions are called as Hormones. The human endocrine system consists of major glands like the pituitary, pineal, adrenal gland, pancreas, testis (in the male), and ovary (in female), thyroid, and thymus.
